Worth noting and meeting

Raincity – Robert Scales and Kris Krug – activists, communicators, nice guys, operating in the world of self representation from a ‘we’ standpoint. Rare.  Irwin, Executive director of W2. A great new community media resource and it will be fibre optic enabled.

There will be a collaboration emerging here linking WE PLAY  to Vancouver through a range of initatives – ideas and links to enable are linked to social media/blogging, telepresence events and a new media/disability events.  This collaboration could link the 2010 and 2012 games – i wonder if this has happened before?

Thoughts on Bloggers

Posted by Debbi.L on February 20, 2009

Are you a blogger? this is a question i am hearing at this conference, like are you a film maker? So what is a blogger – a journalist without any formal training? ‘Its got the cool factor except for the early bloggers who all say blogging is dead. What comes after blogging? Is there too much talk and comment in the world. oh…. i so missed my chance to be an online personality. Apparently Twitter gets reall good when you have over 100 people following you. Do you want a following? Does a blog need to be worth following to get a following? Wow blogging is addictive. A safe drug for the internet generation.
